Interview: Mental Health during COVID-19

One in five people in Australia experience a mental illness such as depression or anxiety every year, according to a national survey of mental health and wellbeing by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

As people spend more time isolated at home because of the COVID pandemic, the importance of effective mental health strategies with regard to domestic violence and suicide has never been more important.

Travis Stacey speaks with Dr Heidi Cutting, a GP at Warrnambool Medical Clinic and medical tutor at Deakin University.
