Promoting indigenous wildlife

Habitat loss is one of the greatest threats to wildlife in Victoria and Victorians are often left feeling hopeless and desperate for change.

Irene Kelly is a grandmother, volunteer and the co-founder of the state-wide environmental initiative Gardens For Wildlife, which is a community-run program working with Victorian councils and its residents to care for the indigenous plants and animals of their communities. Rebecca Martyn spoke with Irene about her work.
