Australia’s worsening pollution problem

Pollution is a major issue in modern society. With more cars, more packaging and more waste than ever, we are faced with an indefinite future for our planet. A study showed that Australia is one of the worst countries per capita for energy and electricity consumption and is the worst country per capita for coal consumption. Thomas Beers spoke with Sociology Professor and Environmentalist Dr Vivienne Waller from Swinburne University about the impact we are having on the environment and what we can do to preserve our planet.
